BO Paper Arapoti started its operations in 1925 in the old mother factory, symbolically recognized as the unit that made the evolution to the current site possible, which began operations in 1992 with one of the most modern facilities of the paper industry in Latin America. The Unit is a producer of coated papers of low weight and thermo-mechanical fibers of high yield for the market. It is a leader in the paper market for Latin American publications, offering a wide portfolio of printing and writing products and a line of Special Papers for the Auto Adhesives and Flexible Packaging markets. The brand represents the history of the Group in its first and important role as a paper producer since the inauguration of the paper mill in Chile until its expansion with the subsequent acquisitions of the factories in Brazil and, mainly, the extension of the product line with the beginning of the production of thermomechanical Fibers (high yield).

The colors refer to the shareholders (Papeles Bio Bio) that, when defining the identification of green and yellow for the group, also representing the growth of its activities with the investments made in Brazil.
