The Vega MTVA is a compact grain cleaner with a high throughput, processing up to 100 tons per hour of grain. Use as a free-standing unit or suspended from the ceiling. Choose from a wide range of screen sizes.

The MTVA comes in two sizes with a throughput of 15 to 100 metric t/h. It has 11 sifting flow patterns and two to four fractions. It is used as a free-standing unit or suspended from the ceiling. It comes with a wide choice of screens and screen cleaners. The MTVA is well-suited to clean wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye or rice.

We have designed the screen frames with clips, so you can change them quickly. You can also access the screen stack from both sides of the grain cleaner, making it easier to reach and quicker to change.

You can connect the grain cleaner MTVA to an air-recycling gravity separator to remove low-density particles. This helps increase the efficiency of the grain-cleaning process and quality of the finished product.

wrtsil supplies a 57 mw power plant to sierra leone

Wrtsil has been appointed the EPC contractor for a 57 MW Smart Power Generation plant to be supplied to CECA SL Generation Ltd., a Sierra Leone company co-owned by CEC Africa Investments and TCQ Power. The turn-key order includes six Wrtsil 32 engines running on heavy fuel oil. The plant is expected to be operational within 18 months from the ground-breaking.

The project will have a significant impact on the development of Sierra Leones energy infrastructure. Upon completion of this project, the availability of energy in Sierra Leone will increase by 40%. Wrtsils scope of supply includes the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the power plant, plus 1.3 km of fuel pipeline from a jetty to the site, and 8 km of overhead power lines. The order was included in Wrtsils order book in Q3 2016.

Electricity access in Sierra Leone is amongst the lowest in the world with less than 15 percent of the population having access to the grid. The existing installed system capacity serving the capital Freetown totals about 84 MW, predominantly from hydro sources. During the dry season, when the available hydropower drops to extremely low levels, the reduced availability and subsequently high cost of electricity impose lost economic opportunities for the local population and businesses. The new 57 MW power plant is responding to a critical need for baseload generation capacity.

We wanted a best quality product and firm. Wrtsil is an experienced EPC contractor in Africa, and their engines are easy to operate and inexpensive to maintain, says Karim Nasser, CEO at TCQ Power. According to Karim Nasser, the new power station will provide reliable and efficient 24hr electricity to the locals which eventually will facilitate the countrys economic growth. We hope this project will mark the beginning of a new era in the country, continues Mr. Nasser.

gold processing | equipment, process flow, cases - jxsc machine

Gravity beneficiation is refers to separating gold ore according to mineral density and plays an important role in contemporary mineral processing methods. The main gravity separator equipment are chute, shaker table, mineral jig, hydrocyclones, etc.

Whatre the limitations of the flotation method? For the ores with particle size greater than 0.2mm, and the quartz gold-bearing ore containing no sulfide, it is not suitable to use the flotation method.

The amalgamation process is an old gold extraction process, simple and economical, suitable for the recovery of coarse-grained monomer gold, but it has pollution to the environment and is was gradually replaced by gravity separation, flotation and cyanidation process.

Among the gold resources, the amount of low-grade oxidized ore occupies a certain proportion. It is not economical to use the cyanide method to extract gold, and the heap leaching process has economic benefits.

The heap leaching method actually deposits gold-bearing ore on an impervious site and is immersed and leached with a cyanide solution. After dissolving the gold and silver in the ore, the pre-designed grooves along the site flow into the storage tank. The gold-silver-containing liquid is carbon-adsorbed with activated carbon and then desorbed to recover gold and silver.

Makrolon polycarbonate is extremely robust, lightweight with glass-like transparency and is impact resistant even at low temperatures. It also has a high dimensional stability and is easily molded, yet displays excellent heat resistance with a glass transition temperature of up to 148C.

A thermoplastic with truly diverse applications, Makrolon is used in medical devices, automotive headlamps, sporting equipment, electronics, eyewear, architectural glazing LED lighting, and numerous other products. The broad portfolio of Makrolon polycarbonate resins from Covestro includes general purpose, lighting, medical and food contact, flame-retardant, impact-modified and glass-fiber reinforced grades, which can be used for injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. Stronger and lighter than glass, polycarbonate also provides energy and CO2 emission savings. All of which explains why Makrolon has been trusted for decades and continues to pave the way for tomorrows product innovations.

Covestro developed new grades of Makrolon polycarbonate and Bayblend polycarbonate blends made from post-consumer recycled plastics. It has been broadly used in consumer electronic devices, such as laptops and mobile phone chargers.

Six different flow sheets, including Bardenpho systems, are currently available. Our most common system is the A2C system with free internal recycle for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) reduction to the lowest permit limits in the United States. Also available is the new AlternatIR system which reduces BOD, TN, and TP in a two-stage system, with no internal recycle pumping required. Many unique designs have also been delivered, including wrap-around clarifier construction and concentric ring plant or brush plant retrofits.

The Excell aerator with the high efficiency surface impeller and the floor-scouring lower turbine efficiently provides aeration at full speed and at 80-90% turndown (drawing 10-20% nameplate power), while still maintaining sufficient mixing in the basin. The Excell aerator offers the best energy savings and dissolved oxygen control on the market.

The EliminatIR gate controls internal recycle from the aerobic zone to the anoxic zone while never drawing more than a horsepower, saving significantly on power and maintenance compared to pumped systems. The EliminatIR gate comprises an electrically-actuated gate that regulates flow through the internal recycle channel.

With greater reliability of instrumentation today, the Oculus control system may be used to enhance operations to save energy and reduce nutrients. In its simplest form, the Oculus control system controls aeration with a DO probe and controls nitrate with an ORP or nitrate probe. Additional analyzers available are ammonia, mixed liquor suspended solids, pH, and phosphorus, which can be incorporated into the Excell aerator and EliminatIR gate control algorithms within the Oculus control system.

With so many Carrousel systems out there, retrofits are a cinch to bring these older installations up to newer technology. Contact the Salt Lake City Ovivo office or your local representative to find out more.
