Material is loaded into the plant feed hopper through a static scalping grizzly with 75 mm bar spacing. Oversize is to be periodically removed manually from the grizzly. Undersize feed material is washed into the scrubber feed chute by water jets strategically placed in the feed hopper and by a manually operated water monitor. Water is piped from an on board water manifold system that supplies water to the complete plant from the customers primary water supply.
Material is scrubbed in this gold wash plant to let clays and silts dispersed into the slurry. Slurry is discharged over the double deck vibrating screen. Oversize (+10mm) from the vibrating screen is discharged via a chute to ground level where it can be removed by the customers mobile equipment or by the clients conveyor system. Product from the bottom deck oversize (-10mm + 2mm) is discharged onto the sluice, complete with riffles and fiber mats, where coarse gold will be recovered.
The screen undersize (-2mm) is pumped from the screen undersize hopper to the concentrator feed box/splitter. The concentrator feed box services a dual purpose as it regulates feed to the concentrators by flowing excess slurry directly to the sluice when required and it serves as a manual by-pass system during the concentrator rinse cycle. Feed from the concentrator feed box flows directly into the twin i350 centrifugal gravity concentrators.
Tailings from the concentrator are directed to the inlet side of the sluice to aid the oversize material (-10mm +2mm) in flowing down the sluice to the final tails area. Concentrate from the twin i350 concentrators is directed to a wheeled storage tote which can be easily removed and towed to a final location for final upgrading and smelting. Concentrates from the sluice need to be removed periodically washed and added to the gravity concentrate.
A scrubber is not a trommel and a trommel is not a scrubber. The two are quite different and quite inefficient when incorporated in the same mechanism. A rotating screen needs a relatively low RPM to allow the fines to pass through the screen. An effective scrubber needs a relatively high RPM to lift the material higher, turn the material over and to input energy into the scrubbing action between the larger rocks and the clay material. Comparatively, a scrubber will have at least twice the horse power as the same dimension and capacity trommel.
A scrubber is a high RPM autogenous mill. A scrubber will rotate at 75% of the critical RPM. The critical spped RPM is the RPM required for the material to cling to the wall and rotate with the drum without falling. A scrubber uses the large rocks to break up the finer material in the same way a ball mill uses steel balls to break up ore.
When the supply pump is located near the concentrator a 2 HP centrifugal pump is generally sufficient.A 3 NPT connector is supplied at the concentrator. This connector reduces to the 2.5 feed hose internal to the machine. 10 tph solids at 20%/80% solids/water will gravity feed through this hose. The concentrator has the capacity for 15 tph solids, but may need to be fed by a pump to achieve this capacity.
Each concentrator arrives with a y-strainer installed in the plumbing manifold. This is only intended to protect the concentrators bowl from becoming sanded with either sand or organics. This strainer is not sufficient to filter any measureable quantity of solids or organics from the water.
If you do not have a clean water supply, an external filter will be required. Irrigation type filters are economical and available around the world. 50 mesh is recommended. They have large filters and high capacities. Recommended brands are Jain, Amiad and API.
It is important to feed a well mixed slurry to the concentrator. This is generally not an issue with alluvial mining, but with hard rock milled ore, it is possible for the slurry to clump leading to poor gold recovery.
Tails flow by gravity from the concentrator. When installing your concentrator you will have to consider if you have enough vertical fall after the concentrator for the tails to flow freely from the machine. Each concentrator has a 4 victaulic fitting.

First, when using a vibrating screen gold wash plant you must make sure your bolts are tight. The majority of the bolts on our machines are 3/4" grade 8. We only use premium grade 8 hardware on our wash plants which require a torque spec to 282 ft/lbs. These are top lock nuts on lock washers which offer the best security when high vibration is occurring.
Second, Make sure the bearings are greased daily. Due to the extreme environment, your wash plant is in, it is important to only use bearings that are able to be greased. No sealed bearings on our wash plants. Only 100% easy to access, serviceable, American made bearings are in use on our wash plants.
Third, our wash plants are all direct hydraulic drive. No belts, transmissions or generators are required to run the wash plant. All gold watch project gold wash plants are self-contained direct drive hydraulically driven wash plants which means less maintenance or chance of equipment failure on your mining site. But you will need to change the hydraulic oil and engine oils. This timing will depend on which model you have and what environment you mine in.

1. Mercury amalgamation-gravity separation This process involves gravity separation and then mercury amalgamation or mercury amalgamation before gravity separation. Gravity separation (amalgamation)-cyanide process This gold processing method is suited for the quartz vein type gold-bearing oxidized ore which with uneven disseminated grain size and high oxidation degree, the gold-bearing ore basically free of copper, arsenic, antimony, etc. 3. Flotation process This processing method is suitable for the quartz vein gold-bearing ore, gold-bearing altered rock type ore and sulfides ore which with fine gold particle and good floatability, widely applied in the medium-large good mining plant. 4. Gravity separation (amalgamation)-flotation process This procedure is applicable to the uneven disseminated grain size and low sulfur quartz veins containing gold ore. Since the monomer-dissociated gold is recovered in a timely and early manner in the grinding circuit, the total recovery of gold can be increased. This process is a widely used process in China's gold plant, in which the recovery rate of gold can reach 30-60%. 5. Cyanidation (full mud cyanidation) process Applicable to gold with a higher emerald grain size, a deeper iron ore-bearing pyrite quartz vein type ore, or a gold-altered diorite-type ore. The ore is required to contain no elements harmful to cyanidation such as copper, arsenic or antimony. 6. Flotation-Cyanide Process This process is suitable for the treatment of gold-bearing iron ore quartz vein ore with gold and sulfide symbiosis. It is also suitable for gold-bearing granite fracture zone altered rock type ore, especially for high sulfur ore. To apply. This process is also one of the common processes in China's gold mines. 7. Flotation-baking-cyanide combined process This procedure is applicable to gold-bearing quartz vein type ores containing elements such as arsenic and antimony. The roasting process is a preparation for cyanidation in order to remove elements that are harmful to cyanidation.
