Raymond Milller Jr., of Vincentown, age 56 years. Passed away May 19, 2015 at the Philadelphia VA hospital. Beloved husband of Laurie Miller, father of Jacob Charles Henry and Raymond Miller III. He is survived by his sister Sally K. Miller of Las Vegas, NV and 5 nieces and nephews; Michael Miller, Sarah Griffin, Adam Griggs, Kate Wagner, and Joseph Wagner. He was preceded in death by his sister the late Leona Siggia, his mother the late Sara 'Sally' Miller, and father the late Raymond Miller, Sr.Ray will be best remembered for his extreme love of and devotion to his Laurie and Jacob 'Jake.' He was a good friend and very much valued the friends that he had. His diverse talents and interests made him always fun and entertaining. Ray was the first to jump into a joke or an opportunity to make people laugh. He will be very deeply and sadly missed by all of us who love him.Relatives and friends are invited to Ray's memorial service Friday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Lankenau Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Vincentown, where friends may visit from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Norway Raymond C. Miller, Jr., 96, of Paris passed away peacefully on January 10th after developing pneumonia. His loving partner Mary Smith was by his side. Raymond was born on March 16, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Elizabeth Sathre and Raymond C. Miller, Sr. He graduated from Oshkosh High School and in 1942 joined the US Marine Corps, serving with the 5th Marine division, surviving the Iwo Jima invasion in 1945, where he viewed the flag raising.
