WEST POINT Raymond Quinn, 61, died Aug. 9, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Siloam MB Church with Dr. Henry L. Brownlee officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-6 p.m. at Carters Mortuary Services Chapel of West Point. Mr. Quinn was born in Clay County on April 9, 1953, to the late Silas Quinn Sr. and Annie Ruth Quinn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Quinn; son, Darrell Quinn; daughter, Cynethia Quinn; and brothers, Willie James Quinn and Felix Dell Quinn. He is survived by a daughter, Marsheka Quinn; sons, Derrick Quinn, Andrea Quinn and Richard Jefferson; brothers, Bobby Quinn of Davenport, Iowa, Silas Quinn Jr., John Robert Quinn, David Lee Quinn of Rock Island, Henry Quinn and Walter Lee Quinn; sisters, Arma T. Randle of West Point, Minnie Merritt of Tupelo, Annie Orr and Sarah Purnell, both of Davenport, and Virgie ONeal of Rock Island, Illinois.
