Features 1. Standard configuration of the CNC vertical grinding machine is a CNC FANUC system and SIEMENS-810D/840D systems. Other systems are optional. 2. Every vertical grinding machine has an indeterminate beam. It uses one single column structure if the rotary table's size is not bigger than 1.6M, or a gantry structure with double vertical columns if the rotary table's size is bigger than1.6M. 3. The CNC vertical grinding machine uses two grinding heads with different layouts: two vertical grinding heads, one vertical grinding head and the other horizontal end face grinding head or one vertical grinding head and the other generating grinding head. Both the vertical grinding head and the horizontal grinding head can realize stepless speed with high precision. 4. The guide way of the CNC vertical grinding machine uses an imported linear roller guide with high anti vibration and the ball screw has the pretension structure. Both the guide way and ball screw have a central lubrication system. 5. The grinding head of the CNC vertical grinding machine uses mechanical structure and the spindle bearing is pre pressing angular contact bearing. 6. The upper and lower reciprocating of the grinding frame uses hydraulic balance. The grinding head can rotate 90 with worm and the worm wheel structure driven by servo motor, and the grinding head is with the hydraulic lock state, high precision angle encoder and high precision indexing. 7. The rotary table with a hydrostatic spindle structure is supported by a closed hydrostatic guide way and the rotary table is driven by a motor with the decelerating mechanism and a synchronous belt. 8. The rotary table of the CNC vertical grinding machine is configured with T shape groove disc, and the electric permanent magnet sucker or other special fixture is optional. 9. The machine uses the closed loop control of the high precision linear grid ruler. 10. The CNC vertical grinding machine uses single dot linear G/W dresser, and the arc G/W dresser or diamond roller dresser is optional. 11. The machine can be configured with G/W changing assistant fixture and G/W static balance system.
Application The CNC vertical grinding machine is used in internal grinding, cylindrical grinding, end face grinding, conical end face grinding and inner or outer track grinding for big ring shaped work pieces, extra big bearings and fan bearings. Different required surface grinding can be finished in one time of clamping to make sure of the grinded surfaces' position precision. The CNC vertical grinding machine is especially suitable for mass production of large gearbox casings, wind turbine gearbox bearing rings and other big bearing rings.

1) Suitable mounting arrangement, so as to make the attachment suitable for mounting on the tool post of your VTL. 2) Required extension, so as to reach the bore in the work piece. 3) 2 HP/2800 RPM flange mounting type 3 phase motor. 4) Extension shaft supported by suitable bearings arrangement inside the housing. 5) Main spindle bearings are of RHP make matched angular contact bearings. 6) Bearings lubricated for life with German make molybdenum supplied grease. 7) Wear-resistant Polyurethane coated drive & driven pulleys, properly balanced. 8) Self aligning, spring loaded belt tension adjusting mechanism. 9) Emery belt of required grid for grinding the bores.
Grinding heads are easily integrated into new TOSHULIN VTLs. The heads are automatically loaded onto the ram. Grinding wheels can be automatically loaded into the heads or you can utilize arbors for manually changing wheels into the head. This extends the machines process capability to grind certain features that require closer tolerances or better surface finishes than traditional turning/milling can achieve.
The automatic heads have up to 4500 RPM capability. The heads incorporate coolant flushing of the workpiece and wheel while in use. The grinding wheels can be oriented vertically or horizontally to have the best approach to the workpiece. Grinding heads incorporate precision bearings to achieve better accuracies and surface finishes.
Additionally, we offer solutions for high horsepower grinding. For two axis machines, the grinding spindle is 30 HP (continuous) with 3000 RPM as standard. For three axis machines, 50 HP (continuous) grinding is provided with an independent cooling system.
The machine has an automatic dressing system for wheel cleaning, sizing and providing specialized shapes and angles. This is programmable for easy and accurate results. The automatic dressing system is programmable up to 4850 RPM in four (4) steps.
