The RUF wood briquette machine forms briquettes from your wood chips to enable profitable sales. The LIGNUM wood chip briquette machine range has the flexibility to process various different grain sizes of the material into briquettes of a consistently high density and quality. The LIGNUM range works with a very high level of energy efficiency thanks to our innovative RUF hydraulics. Due to its compact structure, the sawdust press is easy to incorporate into existing production processes and is suitable for 24h operation.
Thanks to the great number of wood chip machines we have sold, RUF briquettes are popular all over the world as a sustainable, high-quality fuel. A consistent length and a constant weight of the briquettes can largely be ensured, even with different bulk densities, through our highly developed system of briquette length regulation. To be able to press wood chips, it is important that the water content of the material is below 15%. Depending on customer requirements, we offer wood briquette machines for throughputs between 410 and 1,050 kg per hour.
"This is the perfect solution to our handling and space problems. And the waste aluminium in the compact briquette shape largely cleaned of the cooling lubricant emulsion achieves a higher profit when sold on ."
"First and foremost I am impressed by the good price-performance ratio, the quality and the reliability of the machines. Besides I truly appreciate the excellent personal relationship I have experienced with the family business and their Senior Director Hans Ruf from day one."
"Our collaboration with company RUF has started in 2002 and has been successful through all these years. RUF is not just a world known machinery producer name and the leader in briquetting technologies market. RUF is your trustful business partner as it has been a reliable and supporting partner for us during both periods of the sales peaks and during market depression. Its our luck to have the same business philosophy with our main business partner the RUF company. When both of you have the same aim, you achieve it faster!"
"We do not have one unsatisfied customer with a RUF machine and we have sold some 40 systems here in Australia and New Zealand. That in itself speaks volumes for the RUF company and its equipment. In our opinion the RUF briquette press cannot be matched from a performance basis. Although it is more expensive than most competing machines from a capital cost point of view, the ongoing trouble free performance and maintenance of the RUF machines put them well ahead of the opposition."
The merger of RUF and C.F. Nielsen means that the worlds biggest range of solutions from a single provider has been opened up to users of briquetting machines: Hydraulic Briquetting Systems (rectangular briquettes), Mechanical Briquetting Systems (round briquettes) und Extruder Briquetting Systems (dense briquettes suitable for carbonization) Almost irrespective of the throughputs that are needed, the quality of the material and chips, and the production conditions that prevail we can always find the optimal briquetting solution in order to bring the greatest possible benefit to our customers.
In general, almost all materials can be made into briquettes. However, the chip particles should not be bigger than 50mm. The chips should not contain any impurities. For Wood & Biomass the moisture content should be less than 12 % (max 15 %).
The costs of a briquette press depend on various factors, such as the starting material, required throughput and briquette density. Our experts will be happy to advise you on a one-to-one basis and can draw up a non-binding quote.
People all over the U.S. are seeking out clean, efficient wood briquettes they can use for home heating and outdoor recreation because wood briquettes burn longer, hotter, and more consistently than cordwood, and produce significantly less smoke, sulfur, and ash. Wood briquettes are sold in many home improvement and hardware stores, wood stove dealers, and at farm and outdoor supply retailers. Our experts can advise you on how and where to re-sell wood briquettes.
RUF offers several wood briquetting models. Well use your materials to prove out a solution and determine the machine suitable for your byproducts, your operations, and your budget. By being fully supported at every step, you can feel confident youll reap all the benefits of wood briquetting.
Wood chip waste is a constant byproduct of woodworking and extremely difficult to contain. Loose pieces attract moisture and are difficult to collectresulting in lost revenue and increased overhead for storage. Briquetting wood chips can both generate revenue and save you the headache of cleanup and storage.
The market for sugarcane bagasse briquettes is growing. They can be reused as fuel to generate power for your facility or sold for use in the production of bioethanol, paper, particleboard, building materials and feedstock. To briquette wood chip waste, materials can have a maximum moisture content of 15 percent and the pieces must be two inches or less in size. Once these standards are met, your company can start making briquettes.
Biomass Briquette Systems grinders and briquetting presses are capable of densifying wood waste and many other agricultural feed stocks containing less than 15% moisture. These feed stocks can easily be ground and pressed into a high value solid fuel briquette that can then be used for heating and energy applications.
Turn your waste wood and other industrial residues into valuable industrial fuel with a briquette press machine. At C.F. Nielsen, we provide unique solutions to companies in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and every other continent around the globe.
We can provide you with a sustainable and cost-effective solution for almost any type of industrially generated waste. Our briquette press machines come with a lot of different benefits, both environmentally as well as economically:
With a briquette press machine, you will never have to let your waste go to waste again. Instead of disposing of your waste wood as well as other industrial residues that your company generates, you can turn it into marketable fuel for industrial boilers with a briquette press machine.
We work hard to provide you and your company with the best solutions for your industrial waste wood and other residues that are generated from the production process. No waste problem is too big of a challenge for us.
Over the years, we have provided unique solutions for companies all over the world. We make sure to adapt each solution to meet the needs of the individual company. Our briquette press machines are up-to-date with the latest technology and can be adapted to process any waste material or residue.
If your company does already operate with a briquette press machine in your production plant, we can also provide you with upgrades to your machinery that can make your production even more efficient than it already is.
In the beginning of 2016 we had a potential customer visiting from Romania looking for a briquette press to work with waste wood. During the visit, we introduced a second hand briquette press and packing equipment which we had exchanged for new equip
They feature a compact design, modern intuitive control system, reliable hydraulic press, which enables maximum compaction of material. For continuous operation, they are completed by an oil cooler as standard. Automatic regulation of the quality of briquettes and the dispensing auger allows for variable feed material input sizes. The minimum system incorporates a level sensor control to automatically start and stop of the machine, and so maximize the efficiency of the system.
The briquettes have a shape of a cylinder of diameter 65 mm, length 30 to 50 mm, heating value of 15 to 18 MJ/kg. They can be combusted in all types of stoves, boilers and incinerators for combustion of solid fuels. Their high heating value is better used in gasifying boilers. The volume of waste is decreased eight times by briquetting, and consequently waste transport and storage is cheaper.
