Introduction The zirconia grinding ball is made of nano-sized zirconia powder by iso-static pressing and high temperature sintering. Three is no pore and cavity in the ball and the inner of the ball forms homogeneous compact and stable quadrangle zirconia crystal structure(Ce-TZP), which has the same hardness, density and abrasion resistance like gemstone. We have different production types for different applications and the content of zirconia and the size of ball can be customized according to customer requirements.

Zirconia (YSZ) grinding media is the most durable and efficient media for ball milling and attrition milling of ceramic materials. Zirconia grinding media provides a virtually contamination-free ball milling solution for a variety of industries.
Larger media sizes are favored in many conventional ball mills. Smaller sizes are more appropriate for attritors. For example, 5mm media are used in many attrition mill applications, whereas 10-15 mm may be a good start for a lab ball mill. For small-media mills, media sizes are typically smaller than 2 mm.
Another important criterion in selecting media size is the gap size between stirring arms and mill walls. Media size should be significantly smaller than the gap size to prevent jamming.

We use PP plastic bags to carry the zirconia beads, so that zirconia beads will not leak during the shipment. After that, we put the zirconia beads in a plastic barrel. For bulk order, we will put the zirconia ball in a ton bag (1000kg).

All raw materials are mixed in either in a vertical milling machine or horizontal milling machine for a couple of hours. After that, the viscous mixture liquid is sent to the mini spray dryer for fast drying. The particle size is 1-2 m (D50) ensuring the optimal wearing performance.
